ABOUT ARROWSMITH ANIMAL HOSPITAL

Rooted in Community, Built for Compassionate Care

Arrowsmith Animal Hospital was founded by four veterinarians—Dr. Roberta Templeton, Dr.
Jared Watson, Dr. Hayley Doody, and Dr. Lynne Copeland—who share a deep commitment to
the animals and families of the Alberni Valley.
After years of practicing in the region, we saw the growing need for more accessible,
personalized veterinary care. We dreamed of creating a clinic where medicine meets
compassion, where clients feel heard, and where animals receive thoughtful, modern care in a
warm and welcoming space.
That dream became a reality when we purchased our building in the summer of 2024. Now, as
we prepare to open our doors in fall 2025, we look forward to offering a full range of veterinary
services—from wellness and prevention to diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and integrative
therapies.
